1. The Trend Filter
The most basic rule of trading is "the trend is your friend." Our bot uses a very long-term (480-period) moving average as a master filter. We ONLY look for buying opportunities when the price is above this line, and selling when below. This simple rule prevents the single biggest mistake: fighting the market's main direction.
2. The Pullback Entry
Instead of buying into strength (at a high price), our EA waits patiently for a pullback. Our proprietary EMA crossover (218/30) identifies the precise moment a short-term pullback has likely ended, allowing us to enter at a much better price just as the main trend is ready to resume. We buy on dips, and sell on rallies.
3. Volatility-Based Exits
Markets are never static. A fixed 20-pip stop loss is useless. UnifiedEA uses the Average True Range (ATR) to set its Stop Loss and Take Profit. In volatile markets, the stops are wider to avoid being shaken out. In quiet markets, they are tighter to protect profits. This dynamic approach adapts to the market's current personality.
